What to bring

  • In-game clothes – see the Costume page for more information! The average temperature outside in southern Sweden in September is about +15 degrees Celsius.
  • Something extra to keep you warm during the evenings, like a shawl, coat or large scarf
  • Thermal underwear and several pairs of socks
  • Suitable shoes, such as 17th century shoes or neutral leather boots
  • Warm sleeping gear, for example an outdoors sleeping bag + woolen blankets to cover it with, or blankets and furs, and if desired, a pillow. Something to keep between you and the mattress is also required, like another woolen blanket or a sleeping mat. The temperatures are likely to be around +5 degrees Celsius at night, but night frost is very possible, so if you are unsure whether you will be warm enough, bring another blanket.
  • Your own hygiene products and medicines. Note that while it will of course be possible to wash your hands and the well water is clean and very good to drink, there is no running water over sinks and no showers. If you need a mirror, consider bringing your own – there are mirrors in some houses but not everywhere.

Not required but might be nice to have:

  • High-energy snacks for between mealtimes, like protein bars, chocolate or energy drinks, to keep yourself a happy larper (it will of course also always be possible to ask for food in the kitchen if you are hungry)
  • A (charged!) power bank, for your mobile phone
  • A suitable plate, cup and spoon, to eat with (if you don’t have anything suitable, it is possible to borrow on site)
  • A lantern with candles (good to have at least one or two per family, since it gets dark in the evenings)
  • A craft to keep your hands busy (like spinning, knitting, whittling)
