As organisers, we will provide:

  • A larp based on actual historical events, set in 17th-century Sweden and played in English
  • Pre-written characters and relationships
  • Pre-larp workshops on site before the larp starts (where the characters and relationships are developed further), clear instructions regarding pre-planned scenes (like starting or ending acts), and information regarding metatechniques and rules
  • Food from Thursday lunch to Sunday lunch
  • A sleeping spot on a bed in a small, medieval-inspired house shared with the other people playing your family
  • A larp which has run twice before in Swedish/Scandinavian with tried and tested design
  • Some insight into Swedish history and habits of common people in the 17th century
  • One common story to play together

As our participant, you promise us the following:

  • To read the information on the webpage, to make sure this is a larp for you, before signing up!
  • To read the more in-depth information we will send the participants to clarify the historical period and culture further
  • To read the emails with information we will send you and get in touch with us if you have any questions
  • To show up on time for workshops with relevant clothes, costume and sleeping gear to be warm and happy during the larp
  • To follow Swedish law and the rules of the larp
  • To larp generously and give other larpers, possibly from other countries and larp cultures than you, the benefit of the doubt if someone does something you aren’t used to
